RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia State Police have re-released the composite sketch of a man they say may be linked to the disappearance and death of Virginia Tech student, Morgan Harrington.
The composite sketch came from an unsolved abduction and sexual assault in Fairfax back in 2005.
A DNA forensic match connected the two crimes.
Harrington was 20-years-old when she disappeared after leaving a Metallica concert on the campus of the University of Virginia in October 2009.
Her remains were found three months later by a landowner of Anchorage Farm in southern Albemarle County.
Police are looking for information in either one of these cases.
If you recognize the man in the sketch, call Fairfax Police Detective Mike Boone at (703) 385-7959.
If you have information regarding the case of Morgan Harrington call Virginia State Police at (434) 352-3467.
A $150,041 reward is being offered for information that leads to a successful resolution of the Harrington crime.
