RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A weekend search of recreational areas frequented by a missing Virginia Commonwealth University student turned up no clues.

VCU spokesman Mike Porter says a search team with six tracking dogs spent several hours Saturday scouring areas in Richmond where Jonathan Dorey was known to ride his mountain bike, which also is missing. Porter said the searchers found no trace of Dorey or the bike.

The 22-year-old exchange student from the University of the West of England was reported missing March 4. He is 6 feet tall, has brown hair and weighs between 180 and 200. He wears glasses.

The school says Dorey was wearing a blue and white plaid jacket with a hood and dark blue jeans when he was last seen.
