WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. (AP) - NASA says a rocket launch is set for Friday morning at the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.
The launch of the Terrier-Lynx suborbital rocket is set for between 1 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. Backup launch days are March 11 and March 15.
According to NASA, the rocket may be visible to residents in the mid-Atlantic region. The launch will not be shown live on the Internet, and the NASA Visitor Center at Wallops will not be open for viewing the launch.
