RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A ramen noodle factory in Chesterfield County is expanding.
Maruchan Virginia Inc. announced Thursday that it has completed a new manufacturing line, which will add 50 jobs. The $18 million project is the ninth manufacturing line at the Chesterfield plant.
Maruchan is owned by a Japanese company, Toyo Suisan Kaisha Ltd. Since locating at the Chesterfield County Airport Industrial Park, the company has completed several expansions totaling more than 500,000 square feet.
