RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Virginia Department of Forestry is urging landowners to order tree seedlings from the agency's annual sale while supplies are still in stock.

The department says several varieties have already sold out, including yellow poplar, white dogwood, and shortleaf and loblolly pine.

The department sells more than 24 million tree seedlings each year. Seedlings are available in quantities as low as 10 or 25.
