RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A Mechanicsville woman is joining the ranks of Virginia millionaires.

Elizabeth Haynes claimed a $2 million Powerball prize on Tuesday.

The Virginia Lottery says Haynes bought a ticket for the Oct. 3 drawing that matched the first five numbers. She paid another $1 to use Power Play. That doubled the $1 million prize.

Haynes is the second Virginia Lottery player to win $2 million by using Power Play.
