MINERAL, Va. (AP) - Another aftershock from last summer's earthquake has rattled Louisa County.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a 2.5-magnitude aftershock occurred at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday 5 miles southwest of Mineral and 6 miles south-southeast of Louisa.
No damage has been reported.
The Virginia Department of Emergency Management says the aftershock is the 82nd since the 5.8-magnitude earthquake on Aug. 23, 2011. The earthquake's epicenter was in Mineral.
