DISPUTANTA, Va. (AP) - A funeral has been set for an off-duty Prince George County police officer who died after being pulled from a swimming pool at her home.

Prince George County Police Chief Ed Frankenstein says services for 46-year-old Shelly Crowder will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Oakland Baptist Church in Disputanta.

Crowder's death remains under investigation and the cause of death will be determined by the chief medical examiner's office.

State police Sgt. Thomas J. Molnar says Crowder's husband called 911 Monday night and was performing CPR on her near a pool at the couple's residence when emergency workers arrived. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.

Molnar says there was about 6 feet of water in the pool.
