ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (AP) — Two Franklin County school employees are facing charges in what investigators call a murder-for-hire plot.
Media reports identify the two as kindergarten teacher Angela Nolen and school nurse Cathy Bennett.
WDBJ-TV (http://bit.ly/155zOFH) reports that Nolen tried to have her ex-husband killed and Bennett is accused of helping her.
State Police say Nolen handed over $4,000 to an undercover agent she believed was a hit man.
Both are facing felony charges.
