ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — Arlington County police say a 21-year-old man was driving 90 miles an hour when he flipped his vehicle shortly after crossing the Key Bridge from Washington.
The man died as a result of the crash, which happened shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday. Two passengers were injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Police have not released the man's name but say he was from Leesburg.
Arlington police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck says the vehicle struck a curb, rolled over about five times and came to rest on its roof. One of the passengers was ejected.
