EMORY, Va. (AP) — Theater students at Emory & Henry College can receive training from the Barter Theatre for another three years.

The training includes a mentor program, professional workshops, post-performance discussions after certain plays and opportunities to help with technical activities at the theater in Abingdon.

The Bristol Herald Courier (http://bit.ly/15SG3y1 ) reports that college and theater officials signed an agreement Wednesday renewing their partnership.

Emory & Henry will pay the theater about $45,680 to cover the costs of the training and 360 student tickets to Barter plays.
