TASLEY, Va. (AP) — Part of an old motel is the latest arson target on Virginia's Eastern Shore.
Virginia State Police say a Tuesday night fire destroyed a detached building that was once used as a meeting space for the old Whispering Pines motel in Tasley.
Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the fire was deliberately set.
More than 60 suspicious fires have occurred in Accomack County since last November.
No one has been injured. Many of the structures were abandoned.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
