RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Utility crews are working to restore power to at least 36,000 customers in Virginia following the recent winter storm.
More than 11,000 Dominion Power customers remained without electricity Friday. That includes about 7,300 customers in Albemarle County.
Virginia's electric cooperatives report nearly 25,000 customers remained without service Friday.
About 200,000 customers in the state lost power at the height of the storm, which dumped up to 20 inches of snow in central and western Virginia and left three people dead.
