NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) — More than two dozen people have been arrested on charges of drug trafficking in Hampton Roads.

The charges stem from a drug task force investigation called "Dragon's Lair."

One federal indictment unsealed Wednesday charges 13 people with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin. Thirteen others are charged in a related indictment with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine.

The charges involve two drug trafficking organizations.

Federal authorities say the organizations' alleged leaders, 26-year-old Christopher Devon Barrett of Hampton and 38-year-old Steven Lavonne Morris of Newport News, conspired to buy cocaine from the same sources in New York and distribute it.
