9 Va govs to speak at Richmond event

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Gov. Bob McDonnell and all eight of Virginia's living former governors will speak at a fundraiser next week in Richmond.

The Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia will host its 11th annual gala on Tuesday night at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.

Besides McDonnell, scheduled to speak are former Govs. Linwood Holton, Chuck Robb, Jerry Baliles, Doug Wilder, George Allen, Jim Gilmore, Mark Warner and Tim Kaine.

The event is open to the public. Individual tickets cost $200.
