GERMANTOWN, Md. (NBC) - A flash mob took over a Maryland convenience store, but they weren't there to dance. The group was there to steal.
Early Saturday morning, about three dozen young people showed up at a 7-eleven store in Germantown at the same time. The store security video shows them walk in and grab whatever they wanted, including candy, soda and ice cream. Then they left without paying.
The store clerk called police but by the time officers arrived the group was gone.
Police are investigating and say they've already identified several members of the group.
