Child and father seperated on train

PORTLAND,Or - A father had a terrifying moment at a train station in Portland ,OR on Friday.

As he and his son exited the train, the son got on to the platform first and the doors closed, separating father and son. The father tried to signal an emergency, but the train pulled away. The father got off at the next exit, hopped the next train back and was reunited with his boy.

A good samaritan took care of the child until the father returned. The failure of the emergency signal device on the train is under investigation.
