Traits reveal driving habits

LOS ANGELES - There are many factors that go into determining what kind of driver you are. Age, experience and location probably come to mind. But what about occupation and astrological sign?

Two new studies say our occupation and astrological sign can predict the likelihood that we'll get into an accident.

Researchers at moneysupermarket.com claim that bus drivers are the most likely to get into an accident and engravers are the least likely. The study does point out that the bus drivers are most likely to crash their own cars, not the buses.

Accident Exchange , a British accident management company, analyzed car accident rates by astrological sign and found that Geminis were the most likely to be involved in an accident. The next two most likely signs to crash are Taurus and Aries. Scorpions and Sagittarians were ranked the least likely to get into an accident.

Another survey conducted by Auto Vantage and Affinion Group Media looked at the most and least likely U.S. cities for road rage. Miami, New York, Boston, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. were the top five places where drivers are likely to have road rage, while Pittsburgh, Portland, Ore., Seattle, Minneapolis and Cleveland had the most courteous drivers.
