Actor Johnny Depp left a Chicago waiter a generous $4,000 tip last Thursday after dining at Gibsons Bar and Steakhouse .
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Depp was dining at the restaurant with director Michael Mann and actress Marion Cotillard who all worked together on the film "Public Enemies." The movie had its premiere that night in Chicago.
Waiter Mohammed A. Sekhani told RadarOnline that Depp had visited the restaurant several times before. Depp and his party ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, and then the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star had his favorite dish -- Clams Casino -- clams baked with garlic, pepper and cheese.
"He is a very soft spoken guy who is very charming and sweet -- when I wait for him he doesn't like to be too fussed over and is not in any way demanding," Sekhani said.
"Obviously, I was delighted with his tip but he has always been very generous every time that he has visited us here at Gibsons."
Celebrity-Mania.com reports that Sekhani has gotten huge tips before from Kiefer Sutherland and Frank Sinatra as well.
