Romney to campaign in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Mitt Romney will be holding a campaign rally Wednesday, Oct. 17 in Chesapeake.

According to Gov. Romney's press office, he will be speaking at Tidewater Community College, 1428 Cedar Rd. starting at 1:15 p.m.

Doors open at 10:45 a.m. Tickets can be picked up at the following locations between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 and Tuesday, Oct. 16:

  • Chesapeake Victory Office
    124 S. Battlefield Blvd.
    Chesapeake, Va.
  • Virginia Beach Victory Office
    911 First Colonial Rd.
    Virginia Beach, Va.

Tickets can also be obtained online.

The visit is scheduled a day after Romney and President Barack Obama debate Tuesday evening at a town hall in New York.

Romney campaigned in Newport News last week.
