'Shred It' with 10 On Your Side

HAMPTON ROADS, Va - We're on your side helping you in the fight against identity theft.

On Saturday, March 28th, WAVY TV, Shred-It and ARMA teamed up to hold a free community Shred-It event. The event was held at local Bay Port Credit Union locations, one on the Peninsula and one on the Southside. The Tidewater chapter of ARMA international was on hand with important information on why you should shred your personal documents, which documents you should keep and how long you should keep them.

Additionally, food for the area Foodbanks was collected. In all about 4,500 lbs of food were collected. 33,600 pounds of paper was shredded. We also collected $350 in monetary donations.
