KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. (WAVY) - Police in North Carolina were responding to a call when they decided to follow one of their senses which led them to nearly 100 marijuana plants.

According to Sgt. John Towler, Jr. with the Kill Devil Hills Police Department, officers were responding to a call in the Durham Street neighborhood and smelled a strong odor of marijuana.

Towler said a resident of the home where the smell was coming from let them in at which point officers discovered 93 marijuana plants, all of which were seized.
