Dare airport purchases mobile home park

MANTEO, N.C. - The Dare County Airport Authority (DCAA) in Manteo has purchased a nearby mobile home park located just east of the airport.

The DCAA says the newly purchased plot will make landing at the airport safer after tall trees are removed.

A meeting for residents at the Scarborough Square Mobile Home Park is expected to take place soon.
