DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) - The Coast Guard suspended its search for Jeffrey Paul McCusker, last heard from Jan. 26.
Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard said McCusker, 51, was last spoken to Jan. 26 and his truck and empty trailer were had been left at the Wanchese boat ramp since Jan. 31. Hoggard said deputies found McCusker's wallet and driver's license in the car.
The Coast Guard had deployed an MH-60 helicopter to look for McCusker as well as a 24-foot special purpose craft.
