RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Truckers are invited to Raleigh to talk about the impact of changes in federal and state regulations and special provisions that will affect the trucking industry in the future.
The N.C. Department of Transportation is hosting the inaugural trucker's summit on Friday at the Wake Tech Small Business Center in Cary.
Various leaders from the transportation industry are slated to appear to provide insight to further involve industry professionals, the contracting community and NCDOT.
Officials have geared the summit toward prime contractors, prequalified trucking firms and those businesses implementing dump trucks.
