SANFORD, N.C. (AP) — Police say a 29-year-old man has been shot and killed in a bar in Sanford.
The Fayetteville Observer reported (http://bit.ly/10uCiLp) that police say Jonathan Owens of Sanford was shot to death early Sunday morning.
Twenty-two-year-old Christopher McCormick of Sanford has been arrested and charged with Owens' death.
Officers responding to the club found Owens had been shot in the left arm. He was taken to Central Carolina Hospital where he died.
McCormick is being held in the Lee County Jail. It was unclear if he has an attorney.
