RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles is halting scheduled stops of the mobile unit serving locations in northeastern North Carolina because the vehicle is under repair.
DMV has canceled the following stops: March 4 in Scotland Neck; March 5 in Windsor; March 11 in Jackson; March 12 in Plymouth; March 13 in Columbia and March 14 in Swan Quarter.
DMV says repairs to the mobile unit should be complete by March 15. The normal schedule should resume March 18.
Mobile units take driver license services to remote areas of the state, offering original and renewal license issuance, written, sign and road testing.
