Charlotte crash leaves 4 fighting for lives

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Four people have suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of a multi-vehicle crash in Charlotte.

The Charlotte Observer reports (http://bit.ly/Ye8GBh ) that four people were transported to the hospital on Friday night after a collision on Brookshire Boulevard, between Beatties Ford Road and Interstate 85.

Medic, the region's emergency medical services agency, was transporting the victims to Carolinas Medical Center. Information on their conditions was not immediately available.
