CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Time Warner Arena in Charlotte is home to the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats, a minor league hockey team and hosted the Democratic National Convention last year.
But the arena will celebrate its 10 millionth visitor Tuesday during a Bon Jovi concert.
The Charlotte Observer reports (http://bit.ly/XJSIyT) a big ceremony is planned at the concert to honor the person designated as the 10 millionth visitor.
Arena operators say the Atlantic Coast Conference basketball tournament in 2008 was the biggest multi-day event with more than 98,000 visitors.
The largest single event was a concert by U2 in 2005 that topped 19,000 people.
