GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Greensboro police have found a body in Lake Townsend.
Police and emergency workers were called to the lake shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday after fishermen said they spotted a body floating in the water. Officers removed the body from the water several hours later after gathering evidence.
Police would not say if the body was that of a male or female.
The body is being sent to the State Medical Examiner in Raleigh for an autopsy.
