Norfolk soldier dies from his wounds
37-year-old William R. Howdeshell
NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Sgt. William R. Howdeshell, 37 of Norfolk, died July 26, 2007 in Saqlawiyah, Iraq of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
He served acrive duty U.S. Amry with the 5th Squadron, 7th Calvary Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division based out of Fort Stewart, Ga.
