NN Marine's life taken in Iraq

22-year-old Kyle W. Brown

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Lance Cpl. Kyle W. Brown, 22 of Newport News, was killed near Fallujah, Iraq on Jan. 7, 2006 by enemy small arms fire while conducting combat operations.

He served active duty U.S. Marines with the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expedition based in Camp Lejeune, N.C.
