NC soldier dies in Iraq from IED attack

21-year-old Spc. Shawn R. Creighton

WINDSOR, N.C. (WAVY) - Spc. Shawn R. Creighton, 21 of Windsor, N.C., died Apr. 8, 2006, in Rawah, Iraq from an IED attack.

He served active duty in the U.S. Army with the 4th Squadron, 14th Cavalry REG, 172nd Stryker BCT.
