Mortar attack kills VB soldier

29-year-old Jeremy M. Dimaranan

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Spc. Jeremy M. Dimaranan, 29 of Virginia Beach, was killed by a mortar attack on his camp in Balad, Iraq on June 16, 2004.

He served in the Army Reserve in the 302nd Transportation Company, 172nd Combat Support Group, Army Reserved based in Fort Eustis, Va.
