ARLINGTON, Va. - The study released Thursday by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has some sobering statistics.
It says 16 to 19 year olds are four times as likely to be involved in fatal crashes than older drivers.
However when a car is equipped with a monitoring device it reduces the risk by giving feedback about driving behavior to both teens and parents.
