Nurse guilty of sexual abuse of patient

Chesapeake, Virginia - A Chesapeake man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a comatose female patient at a nursing home where he worked.

Mark Albright faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced March 24 after pleading guilty to aggravated sexual battery.

Albright worked as a licensed practical nurse at the Chesapeake Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Police say an employee entered the room of a 43-year-old patient to conduct nightly medical duties and observed Albright with his mouth on the woman's breast. Police say the patient, who was in a coma and unresponsive, had been at the center for about a year.

Albright is no longer employed at the center.
