HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton police tell WAVY.com one of the suspects wanted in a series of burglaries in the city has turned himself in.
Police say 22-year-old David Lee Spain of Portsmouth turned himself in at police headquarters on Monday.
Spain is wanted in three seperate burglaries that occurred between May 22 and May 24 of this year. Items stolen in the burglaries include: TVs, jewelry, electronic equipment and a laptop. Police estimate the value of the stolen goods at $11,650. Some of the property has since been recovered, but police say some of the items still haven't been located.
Police arrested one of the suspects in June, 18-year-old Renaldo Xavier Rodriquez. Rodriquez is charged with three counts each of Breaking and Entering with Intent to Commit a Felony, Grand Larceny and two counts of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses. He is being held in the Hampton City Jail.
Spain is charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering with Intent to Commit a Felony and two counts of Grand Larceny.
