Thanking our local military

Norfolk, Va. - To make sure those in our local military without any family will have a place to spend the holiday, Jillian's Billiards Club at Waterside in downtown Norfolk will be providing a free Thanksgiving Day dinner to all active duty military members.

By showing their active military I.D., the troops will receive a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all of the fixings along with a free $5 game card to enjoy during the holiday season.

Dinner on Thursday is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The public is invited, but only the active duty military meals will be free.

Jillian's Billards Club is also asking everyone to bring in a non-perishable item to help with its food drive for the local food bank.
