Alleged gang members indicted

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The U.S. Attorney's Office announced Friday it will hold a press conference announcing the federal grand jury indictment of 10 alleged members of the "Dump Squad" street gang.

The "Dump Squad" is believed to be a violent criminal group that operated in the Ridley Circle, Harbor Homes and Dickerson Court sections of Newport News.

Federal, state and local law enforcement will all take part in the conference. It is expected to begin around 10 a.m.
