5-alarm fire at Shore Flea Market

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - Smoke and flames filled the night sky on Virginia's Eastern Shore late Monday.

Fire crews from across the area were called to fight a fire at the Shore Flea Market in Northern Accomack County at around 7:30 p.m..

County dispatch told WAVY.com the fire was 5-alarm. State Police were called to investigate, as fire rescue crews from Oakhall, Saxis, Accomack County, Bloxom and elsewhere fought the flames.

Viewer-submitted pictures of the scene show a large fire crew presence.

The last unit cleared the scene at 11:30 p.m.
