WWE stars to visit veterans, school

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - A slew of World Wrestling Entertainment stars are set to visit wounded veterans at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Friday, as well as an elementary school.

According to officials with the Navy, the stars will have lunch with service members, in line with WWE's Tribute to the Troops holiday special.

Area Navy bases will be visited by the WWE stars Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Additionally, the WWE stars will visit Sewells Point Elementary School Friday to deliver an anti-bullying message under their "Be A STAR" program.

The WWE stars visiting the NMC are John Cena, Mick Foley, ADR, Ricardo, Eve, Zack Ryder and Sin Cara.

The stars visiting Sewells Point are Big Show, Hornswoggle, Brodus Clay, Ted DiBiase, Naomi and Cameron.

The WWE's Tribute to the Troops will be held Sunday night at Norfolk's SCOPE arena starting at 4 p.m. More than 7,000 active duty sailors and their families have been invited to the event.
