NEW YORK, N.Y. (WAVY) - A local Williamsburg woman was ambushed by the Today Show in New York. She received a much deserved makeover by US Weekly's Jill Martin and hairstylist Louis Licari.
Jennifer Brody is a lucky 36 year-old woman picked at random to receive the makeover.
Jennifer has been married to her husband Ronald for 14 years and has two children. For the last eight years Jennifer has been working as a secretary in the front office at Walsingham Academy .
Jennifer feels as if she has had the same look since she was in high school and only colors her hair once a year.
Jennifer and her friends were in New York last year when a fellow co-worker was the lucky recipient of the ambush makeover, but this time it was Jennifer's turn.
Jennifer's friends and students told Martin that they thought Jennifer needed the makeover because she was the most popular woman at school and that they love her and she deserves it. When asked if she was ready, Jennifer said "I'm so excited I can't stand it! For once I won't look like my twin sister anymore!"
After Martin and Licari had their way with Jennifer, her group of friends greeted her with shouts and wow's. Jennifer finally saw herself all made over and responded with "Wow, wow, wow, I don't look like my sister anymore!"
With a little bit of glamour and a little change her friends say that she "looks fabulous and totally deserved this makeover; she's the nicest secretary ever!"
