WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - Friday's storm was the first time VDOT had pretreated primary roads in Williamsburg for winter weather conditions.

Latest winter storm news

"This is actually the first season we've done a lot of the pre-treating on primaries in Williamsburg and James City County so motorists should see a lot easier commute tonight, but it should still be pretty slick out there so they should be careful," Lauren Hansen with VDOT said.
