Bataan prepares to leave for Haiti

WAVY reporters to travel on ship, report daily

The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of USS Bataan, USS Fort McHenry and USS Carter Hall, has deployed to assist with humanitarian and disaster relief in Haiti. WAVY photojournalists Art Kohn and Jeff Myers are on board USS Bataan.

They have already begun filing reports from the ship about the journey ahead of them and what our local sailors will be doing to help earthquake victims.
