Water main break closes Beach road

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A water main break forced police to close Princess Anne Road at Holland Road in Virginia Beach Wednesday morning.
Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the southbound lanes of Princess Anne are currently closed due to the break. Southbound traffic is being routed down Princess Anne Road to Seaboard Road.
The main was repaired and the road was repaved shortly after 4:30 p.m.
The cause of the break has not yet been released by officials.
