VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police have resolved an incident involving a man barricaded in a home with a gun Tuesday.

Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department said officers and SWAT members were on scene in the 1800 block of Wandsworth Drive after a caller told police the suspect inside the home displayed a weapon around 9 a.m. The caller was able to get out of the home.

The suspect threatened his roommate, Jimmy Barnes with Virginia Beach Police told WAVY.com.

Just before 1 p.m., the SWAT situation was resolved, Moyers said. The suspect's name has not been released at this time.
