VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Teresa Denham's "Spirit Fingerz" had a humble beginning as glued-on pompoms on gloves at a college football game.

Now, Denham is set to be featured on a segment of The Today Show and has reached a licensing agreement with NFL and NCAA.

"I was going to a Virginia Tech game and put pompoms on my fingertips, and when I got to the game, people kept asking me what they are and I would say, 'Spirit fingers,' and I filed for a patent," Denham told 10 On Your Side.

The gloves are available at local Dick's Sporting Goods and Cracker Barrel restaurants.
