VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Officials say two people were displaced following a house fire caused by an electrical circuit Monday.
According to Chief Tim Riley with the Virginia Beach Fire Department, crews responded to the fire just after 11:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Pleasant Hall Drive.
Riley said it took crews about 40 minutes to control the fire.
One person inhaled smoke during the incident but refused medical attention. No other injuries were reported.
