Traffic re-routed around VB gas leak scene

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Fire crews are on scene in front of Burger King in Virginia Beach.

The call came in shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday, according to city spokesperson Grazia Moyers.

Police units were also called to the scene, to block traffic at Laskin Road and Baltic Avenue and Laskin Road and 30th Street. Laskin Road from Holly Road was also blocked while gas lines are repaired.

Traffic is being re-routed around these areas. There is no word yet on what caused the leak.
