Navy to update jet crash victims

NORFOLK , Va. (WAVY) - The victims of the Navy jet crash continue to get help.

Members of the military will meet with residents of the Mayfair Mews Apartments and owners of property damaged in the crash to update them on compensation and assistance.

Since the crash on April 6, the Navy has helped the displaced homeowners with food, lodging and clothes.

The April 19th meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Training Academy at 411 Integrity Way.

According to a release, "representatives from the City of Virginia Beach and local relief agencies" will also be in attendance.
